Custom Sewing for all of your needs

Offering longarm quilting services to complete those tops that have been waiting to be finished. 

Most designs for longarm quilting are 2 cents a square inch, dense designs are 4 cents a square inch. 

Thread charges are $5.00 a bobbin. 

Preparation of backing and batting are $25.00 each. 

Trimming is $25.00. 

BInding is 20 cents an inch. 

Batting available for purchase otherwise will be supplied by the customer. 

Custom embroidery labels also available at an additional fee, to be determined by stitch count. 

Rush fees will be charged for any jobs with less than 14 days until needed, fee to be determined by the scope of the work that needs to be done. Alterations and repairs have a minimum charge of $25,00, fees may be more depending on the job. 

Hemming is $30.00 per pair of pants/shorts and per layer of gowns/dresses/skirts. 

Coat zippers are $35.00 for regular materials $50.00 for leather plus zipper cost where applicable. 

Appointments can be made by calling (937) 269-8041 or by email at debbie@historicalcostumlady.com. Missed appointments will be charged $25.00. I do work full time and I do these appointments in my free time. Prompt pick up of your finished items is appreciated. Items must be pick up within two weeks of the first time I contact you. If not, storage fees of $5.00 per day until pick up will be assessed. 

Payment is required at the time of pick up. I take cash and Venmo. Paypal invoicing is available with a $5.00 courtesy fee added. 

Not responsible for fullness or wrinkling in quilt tops due to poor construction. I will do my best to work out fullness but it is not always possible. Any additional work to reduce or eliminate fullness will be charged at $25.00 per hour with a minimum of a one hour charge.
